Hello and thank you so much for visiting The Faithful Journey!
Here is a little about me and this site.
I have been married to my beautiful wife Danielle for 12 years. Together we have two wonderful boys, ages 7 and 5. They keep us on our toes each day and fill us with much love.
We live in Northeast Ohio and have wonderful families and friends. I am a big sports fan. I am a graduate of The Ohio State University and therefore I love the Buckeyes. Also, I love all the Cleveland sports teams. Although, it feels like a love/hate relationship sometimes as it’s hard with all the losing.
Above all, I have always been a man of faith. Honestly, my faith has been up and down throughout my life. However, these last few weeks, I have felt a strong calling from God to write a blog. Truthfully, I’ve never written a blog before as this is my first attempt. Yet, I feel compelled to share my thoughts, experiences, and ideas to help others in some way.
For many years, I have been dealing with depression and anxiety in all facets of my life. There are four main instances (traumas) in my life that have forced me to take a new path. One of these traumas I share with you in my first ever blog post. Each time I have experienced these triggers (or traumas), I’ve learned and experienced something new for the highest good.
What is this site about?
This blog is about having faith in everyday challenges. The focus will be on relationships, family, kids, work, and community. I plan to share my life experiences and everything that I have learned to help others stay faithful to their life journey.
Our lives are tied to our well-being. How are we going to perform well in our professional life if we are depressed in our personal life? If we have high anxiety in our professional life, how do we not have that in our personal life? How do we expect to move forward from our past if we are not living in the present? How do we try to navigate the present if we are always thinking about the future?
We are all connected, and there is a purpose to everything we do. I named this site The Faithful Journey, because life is a journey to become better people, make better decisions, and have better relationships. In this journey of life, we need to have faith and trust in God. Through our faith in him, he will help guide us for the highest good of the situation. For me, a daily guide of faith can be found on the bible app.
Thank you for taking this journey with me. I hope you find inspiration and value from this site.
God bless you and your family. Remember, keep the faith in your journey always!
